When you’re making plans for the weekend, who do you call? I bet that nine times out of ten you call your friends, significant other or even coworkers, because same! Well this time I wanted to switch it up..⁣⁣⁣

Last week I had 4 tickets to see Chase Rice so I decided to Invite my Mom, my aunt and my sister to come with. Pretty sure my mom didn’t know one song but she came anyways because she was so happy to spend time with her sister and daughters. It made me realize that I couldn’t even remember the last time we hung out like that without it being someone’s birthday or a holiday.⁣⁣⁣

I feel like it’s so easy to get caught up in our jobs, hobbies, friends and daily life that we sometimes forget about our families. I know I’m guilty of this! ⁣⁣⁣

So I challenge you that next time you’re making weekend plans or you have a free 20 minutes, try giving your Dad a call or inviting your brother out for drinks just to catch up. I bet it’ll make their day. 🖤⁣⁣

Okay so, let’s talk wedding guest dresses. Have you ever been to Colorado? IT’S AMAZING!! I mean.. coming from the city I feel like the mountains were just so cool for us to experience. It’s so different and I highly recommend adding the Denver area to your bucket list. ⛰ Working on getting my recap up for you guys asap so that you can see some of the cool stuff to do there. I’m so happy we were able to fit in everything we wanted to do in under 3 days. Well, except for @littlemanicecream. Next time for sure. 😭😭🍦

About a week ago I got my GI test back from @integrativemedical360 showing I have an inflammatory reaction to gluten, so it’s best for me to eat gluten free (on top of grain free because I’m also inflammatory to grains, lucky me). This is going to be a huge life adjustment but I’m excited to start eating right for my body & feeling better.⁣

I have been indulging (a lot) on this trip, mostly because we like to do that on vacation however my body and mind is feeling it. You know those thoughts of “I shouldn’t have ate that.. I’m going to gain weight”?? Yeah the food regret I have right now is REAL. I’m trying sooo hard not to let these thoughts consume me because life isn’t only about what our bodies look like & our weight. It takes practice to train our minds from thinking differently than society has taught us, so it’s been a journey - but we’ll get there. 🤞🏼⁣

✌🏼 our Pittsburgh, Hello Indianapolis, St. Louis and soon to be in Kansas City for the night. Grabbing some nachos + watching some baseball (the man is very happy) and then headed 4 hours to our @airbnb for the night. We drove 12 hours today and we’ll have 8 more tomorrow until Denver. Road tripping with you is funnnn 🖤🚗

I SPY DENVERRRR. 😍😍 You guys, we’re so excited for our road trip! 🚘 We leave super early in the morning (like 3am) on Thursday and we’ll get to Denver Friday afternoon. Lots of you asked why we’re driving and it’s because we love road trips! Just hanging out, listening to music, enjoying the scenery & Jeep - so much fun!
